🔋 Up to 3-Year Warranty on Hybrid Battery Services
Your exact warranty length depends on the service performed and the condition and age of your battery — not every repair carries the same coverage, and we’ll tell you exactly what applies before any work begins.
Hybrid Battery Warranty
At DFW Hybrid Battery, we believe a warranty should be easy to understand.
We stand behind the hybrid battery services and components we provide. Because every vehicle, battery, and repair is different, warranty coverage may vary depending on the service performed, battery type, components used, and condition of the original battery.
1. Our Warranty Commitment
DFW Hybrid Battery warrants the hybrid battery repair, reconditioning, replacement components, and related workmanship specifically identified as covered on the customer’s invoice or warranty documentation for the stated warranty period.
If a covered problem occurs during the warranty period, we will diagnose the reported issue and, after confirming that the failure is covered, provide an appropriate warranty remedy in accordance with this policy.
2. Warranty Period
Warranty duration depends on the service performed and the type and condition of the battery or components supplied.
The applicable warranty period will be clearly stated on the customer’s:
Invoice, service record, or written warranty documentation.
The warranty begins on the date the covered service or installation is completed, unless otherwise stated in writing.
3. What Our Warranty Covers
Depending on the service performed, your warranty coverage is specifically identified on your invoice or warranty documentation and may include:
Any parts supplied or replaced by DFW Hybrid Battery as part of your service.
Any modules or cells specifically replaced as part of your covered repair.
Battery assemblies we rebuild or recondition and supply to you.
The installation and labor directly tied to your hybrid battery service.
If a covered component fails during your warranty period, the labor to correct it is included — at no extra charge.
4. Repair, Rebuilt & Reconditioned Battery Notice
A repaired, rebuilt, or reconditioned hybrid battery is not a brand-new battery.
Depending on the service selected, a battery may contain tested and serviceable previously used OEM modules or components.
DFW Hybrid Battery evaluates applicable components using diagnostic and testing procedures that may include voltage, internal resistance, capacity, charge/discharge performance, balance, temperature behavior, and other relevant battery data.
Our objective is to identify defective or unsuitable components and provide a practical repair or reconditioning solution based on the battery’s condition.
5. Replacement Batteries
When DFW Hybrid Battery supplies a complete replacement battery, the battery may be:
New OEM, new aftermarket, remanufactured/rebuilt, or used/tested, depending on the option selected by the customer.
The battery type and applicable warranty will be identified on the customer’s invoice or service documentation.
6. How a Warranty Claim Is Determined
A hybrid-system warning light or diagnostic trouble code does not by itself establish that the hybrid battery has failed or that a condition is covered under warranty.
Modern hybrid vehicles contain interconnected systems, including the engine, inverter, charging system, battery management system, cooling system, wiring, sensors, 12-volt electrical system, and other components.
7. Warranty Diagnostic & Mobile Service
If a customer reports a potential warranty issue, DFW Hybrid Battery will evaluate the concern to determine whether it is related to a covered repair or component.
If the problem is covered:
Any applicable diagnostic and repair labor required to correct the covered failure will be handled according to the customer’s warranty at no additional charge.
If the problem is NOT related to the covered battery service:
Normal diagnostic, travel, mobile service, inspection, disassembly/reassembly, or other applicable service charges may apply.
8. What Is Not Covered
Our warranty is specific to the hybrid battery work we perform — that keeps it clear, honest, and something we can actually stand behind. In general, it doesn’t extend to these situations:
The engine, transmission, inverter, converter, charging system, 12-volt/low-voltage electrical system, and wiring, connectors, sensors, ECUs, BMS components, relays, or contactors not specifically identified as covered — along with any components we didn’t supply, repair, or replace, and pre-existing faults unrelated to your repair.
Water intrusion, flooding, corrosion, fire, collision damage, overheating from a blocked or damaged cooling system, or rodent and pest damage.
Improper jump-starting, reversed polarity, incorrect charging, unauthorized electrical modification, accident, abuse, neglect, or improper storage or operation of the vehicle.
Opening, modifying, or repairing the covered battery through another shop without our authorization, tampering with the high-voltage system, failures caused by an unrelated vehicle problem, or normal wear on components outside your original repair.
9. Existing and Unrelated Vehicle Problems
Hybrid vehicles may have multiple faults at the same time.
Repairing or replacing the hybrid battery does not guarantee that unrelated warning lights, diagnostic codes, drivability problems, engine problems, fuel-economy concerns, or other vehicle conditions will be corrected.
10. Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty eligibility, the customer must:
• Operate and maintain the vehicle reasonably.
• Address known engine, charging, cooling, or electrical problems that may affect the hybrid battery.
• Maintain the hybrid battery cooling intake, ducts, and related components as appropriate.
• Contact DFW Hybrid Battery promptly after a suspected covered failure.
• Provide reasonable access to the vehicle for diagnosis.
• Avoid opening, modifying, or authorizing third-party repair of the covered battery before DFW Hybrid Battery has had an opportunity to evaluate the claim.
11. How to Request Warranty Service
If you believe you are experiencing a warranty-related problem, contact DFW Hybrid Battery before authorizing another company to repair or replace the covered battery.
Please provide, when available:
Your name • Vehicle year/make/model • VIN • Current mileage • Original invoice or service date • Warning messages or diagnostic codes • Description of the problem
We may request photographs, diagnostic reports, scan data, or other information to help evaluate the concern before scheduling service.
12. Warranty Remedy
If DFW Hybrid Battery confirms a covered failure, we may, as appropriate:
repair the covered component, replace the affected component, recondition the affected battery assembly, or provide a functionally equivalent replacement.
The appropriate remedy will be determined based on the nature of the covered failure, original service performed, battery type, component availability, and applicable warranty.
Replacement components may be new, remanufactured, reconditioned, or tested used components consistent with the type of service originally purchased, unless otherwise stated in writing.
13. Warranty Replacement Does Not Restart the Warranty
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing:
A warranty repair or replacement does not create a new warranty period.
Coverage continues for the remaining portion of the original warranty period.
14. Transferability
15. No Authorization for Third-Party Repairs
DFW Hybrid Battery must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and address a suspected covered failure.
Costs incurred for diagnosis, towing, battery removal, repair, replacement, rental vehicles, or other services performed by third parties will not be reimbursed unless DFW Hybrid Battery authorized those expenses in writing in advance.
16. Mobile Service Area
DFW Hybrid Battery provides mobile service primarily within its designated service area.
Warranty service outside our normal service area may be subject to scheduling availability and additional travel charges unless otherwise stated in the customer’s written warranty.
Transportation, towing, or delivery of the vehicle is not included unless specifically agreed to in writing.
17. Used and Customer-Supplied Components
Parts or batteries supplied by the customer are not warranted by DFW Hybrid Battery for the condition, capacity, longevity, or performance of the component itself.
Any workmanship warranty applicable to installation of a customer-supplied component will be stated separately on the invoice.
18. Limits of Coverage
The warranty applies to the covered hybrid battery service and components identified in the customer’s documentation.
It is not a guarantee of the remaining life of the vehicle, the entire hybrid system, fuel economy, or components that were not included in the covered service.
No employee, technician, or representative may modify the written warranty terms unless the modification is confirmed by DFW Hybrid Battery in writing.
19. Your Legal Rights
This limited warranty gives customers specific contractual rights. Customers may also have other rights under applicable federal, Texas, or other law.
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive or limit any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.
20. The Warranty That Applies to Your Vehicle
Because battery condition, vehicle age, service type, and replacement options vary:
Your invoice or written warranty documentation will identify the specific warranty period and coverage applicable to your vehicle. If there is a difference between this general website policy and specific written warranty terms issued for your service, the specific written warranty terms will control to the extent permitted by law.
